If you have been able to install the eSIM service without errors, that you are in an area with good coverage and you still cannot connect to a network when outside the UK i.e. you do not get any signal bars for your eSIM service then check the following:
1. You have not used the eSIM service in a country that is outside the allowed countries. If this is the case then your roaming allowance has been used up.
2. You have not made any international calls to countries other than the country in which you are using the eSIM or back to the UK. If this is the case then your roaming allowance has been used up.
If either of these have occurred you will see in the MyeSIM self-service portal that your line is flagged as having it’s ‘Out of bundle usage’ triggered. If this is the case then all of your allowance for the month outside the UK will have been used and you will not be able to use your plan outside the UK for the rest of the month.
